Q: Which insurances do you accept?

A: Common vision insurances that we are in network with include: Regence, Aetna, Premera, United, Cigna, First Choice, Davis Vision, VSP, Eyemed. Common insurances that we do not bill include: Medicaid, Spectera. Unfortunately, we do not bill secondary insurance. *Please be aware that your vision insurance may be different than your medical insurance.

Q: How long will it take for my glasses to be made?

A: Average turnaround time for glasses is 7 - 10 business days. This may vary depending on your prescription, type of lens you wear, or lab restrictions.

Q: How long will my exam be? Do I have to be dilated every time?

A:  Routine exams typically last 30 - 45 minutes. Most patients need a dilation every three years, but it is up to the doctor's discretion whether or not you will need to be dilated. (If it is not convenient for you to be dilated during your routing exam, you may schedule another time to do so.)

Q: What if I need to be fitted for contacts?

A: We do fit for contact lenses in our office, although most insurances do not consider this part of the "routine exam", and therefore do not cover this expense. Pricing varies depending on what kind of contacts you wear and your prescription.
